Comicpalooza 2025

During the weekend of June 20th 2025, the Blitz team set up our booth at Comicpalooza at the George R. Brown Convention Center on the 1st floor.

Comicpalooza is Houston’s premier pop culture festival which first started in 2008. The convention has featured the following guests; William Shatner, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Tom Holland, Terry Crews, Emilia Clarke, and Patton Oswalt. The convention celebrates both American and Japanese media.

The team offered the break the box game, spin the wheel game, and Dragon Ball dispenser game. In addition, the team offered a new roll the dice tic-tac-toe game. This new game involved rolling giant dice to select spaces on a tic-tac-toe board. Getting 3 in a row or all 4 corners resulted in a win condition.

Each game allowed the player to walk away with at least a small prize while also allowing the chance to win a larger prize. The team also raffled off signed Funko Pops and posters at the end of each day. The Blitz team thanks voice actors Stephanie Naldony and Sean Schemmel for their generous support and signing prizes.
